In order to exhaust their marvels and grasp the work of the Creator, one must love their spirit, study their essential features, wander about them widely, satiate the eyes and store up the impressions in the heart. Then, even if the eye doesn’t see the silk and one realizes that the hand does not govern brush and ink, marvelous, mysterious, boundless becomes that picture of mine!”
